Designed to bring you the full potential of an APS-C camera, the Canon R7 sets many standards and offers a wide range of professional features. Not only does the R7 offer 33 MP, but it also has the fast autofocus of the R3 with an IBIS to assist you.

The sensor and autofocus performance of the Canon R7

The R7's APS-C sensor is equipped with a 5-axis IBIS image stabilizer that provides up to 7 stops of optical image stabilization when used with an IS Lens.

Wildlife, sports and action photographers will especially benefit from the camera's sensor size, and with the crop factor of 1.6, these photographers will gain focal length, especially at telephoto. This combined with the Canon EOS R3's autofocus and Dual Pixel CMOS AF II sensor with Deep- Learning technology provides 100% sensor coverage, allowing you to never miss a moment. Even in low-light situations, the R7's autofocus performs very well at up to -5 EV / EV. The DIGIC X processor helps this camera to top performance.

With its 32.5 megapixels, this sensor provides the sweet spot between exposure performance and ISO performance needed in many applications. The R7's scene recognition covers many areas. For example, the camera recognizes people, animals and vehicles, among others. The scene recognition can also distinguish even more specifically, for example, birds, cats or dogs. It can also recognize a wide variety of vehicles during motor sports activities. Question: What is the crop factor of the R7?
Answer: The R7 uses an APS-C sensor from Canon with a crop factor of 1.6x.

Question: Which lenses can I use with the camera?
Answer: RF and RF-S lenses can be attached directly to the camera, EF and EF-S lenses can be used with an EF-RF adapter. EF-M Lens are not compatible with the R7.

Question: What is the AF/MF switch on the front of the camera for?
Answer: Some RF-S Lens do not have their own AF/MF switch, so Canon has added the switch to the camera so that you can easily switch between auto and manual focus without having to search for the corresponding option in the menu. If the Lens has its own switch, this overrides the setting on the camera.

Question: What does "pre-recording with RAW burst" mean?
Answer: This is Canon's term for the "pre-shooting" function, whereby the camera continuously takes photos with the electronic shutter as soon as the shutter release button is pressed halfway down, but only stores them temporarily in the buffer. Only when the shutter release button is pressed fully down are the photos saved together as a RAW burst file on the SD card. This allows you to photograph unpredictable situations such as a kingfisher diving into the water!

Videoeinsatz spitze
Ich habe mir die Kamera als Hybridlösung für Sportfotografie und 4K Video-Aufnahmen gekauft und bin absolut zufrieden. Die Bedienung ist intuitiv, simple und übersichtlich. Die Video-Qualität überzeugt mich voll und ganz, ich bin sehr zufrieden mit meinem Kauf

Exzellentes Zoom und preiswert
Prima Zoom-Objektiv, sehr scharf zeichnend frei aus der Hand bei 400mm, Für die Qualität und den Preis unschlagbar. Leider muss ich aber die Qualitätskontrolle von Canon kritisieren. Das erste Zoom hat scharf abgebildet, hatte aber Schmutzpartikel unter der Vorderlinse, also zurückgegeben. Das zweite und dritte Zoom haben zu 80% Schrott-Fotos mit totaler Unschärfe produziert, also zurückgegeben. Erst das letzte Zoom von Foto-Koch war perfekt. Dann will Canon 62€ für eine Sonnenblende, das sind 10% des Objektivpreises!!!! Man kann sie aber für etwa 19€ als freie Marke erwerben. Bin jetzt total zufrieden und fasziniert von diesem Objektiv. Absolute Kaufempfehlung!

Personal data (e-mail address, address, contact details) will not be passed on to third parties.

You assume full responsibility for your content. You agree to indemnify Hifi Foto Koch GmbH and its current or future affiliates and agents for all costs, including attorneys' fees, any damages, consequential damages of any kind, claims and demands arising from your failure to comply with the Review and Community Media Guidelines and these Terms of Use.
