Question: Does the Lens work with teleconverters?
Answer: Yes, it is compatible with the RF 1.4x and the RF 2x teleconverter.
However, the sensor area on which the autofocus works is limited when using the 2x teleconverter, more information can be found here: https://cam.start.canon/de/H001/supplement_0110.html

Question: What is the focal length on an APS-C camera?
Answer: The focal length on an APS-C camera is 320 - 1280mm.
If you also use a 1.4x teleconverter, the focal length on an APS-C camera is 448 - 1792 mm.
If you use a 2x teleconverter with the Lens on an APS-C camera, the focal length range is 640 - 2560 mm.

Question: Which filters are compatible with this Lens?
Answer: Filters with a filter thread of 95mm are compatible with the Lens.
In order to also use the lens hood while using a filter, it may be necessary to use filters with small external dimensions.

Question: Can the lens clamp be removed?
Answer: No, the lens clamp cannot be removed, but it can be rotated 360°.

Question: How long should an Arca-Swiss plate be for this lens?
Answer: An Arca-Swiss plate should be at least as long as the lens base: approx. 13 cm.
However, if you want to use the lens on a gimbal tripod head, it may be advisable to choose a longer Arca-Swiss plate in order to balance the lens correctly.

Question: Can this Lens also be manually focused?
Answer: Yes, the function of the control/focus ring below the zoom ring can be switched between the function as a control ring and the function as a focus ring for manual focus.

Question: Is the lens also suitable for video?
Answer: Yes, thanks to its large focal length range, different setting sizes can be realized without having to rely on frequent lens changes. In addition, the fast autofocus is ideal for difficult video recordings such as birds in flight.
