Always know what's going on with a surveillance camera
Strange noises in the garden at night? Strange cars in the driveway? With an outdoor surveillance camera, you can always see what's going on around your house, yard, garden, stable and property - regardless of whether there's a threat or you simply want to feel completely safe. The Hama outdoor camera is equipped with a solar panel and rechargeable battery and can be used in a variety of ways in conjunction with the app and voice control. Of course, the smart camera is protected against water jets in accordance with IP 65 and can therefore be mounted on the exterior facade without hesitation.
Everything in view on the cell phone display
With the Hama Smart Home app, you can call up the live view of the surveillance camera via the smartphone display: live, in color and in high-resolution Full HD quality - you won't miss a thing. This allows you to check what the strange car is doing in the driveway from a safe distance - perhaps the driver just wants to turn around. The children are playing in the garden at their birthday party and you would like to prepare snacks and drinks? You can do this without a guilty conscience, because the live view allows you to keep an eye on the children at the same time (this also applies to puppies and kittens and anything else that has a silly mind from time to time).
PIR motion detector
Sometimes something scurries across your property so quickly that you don't even notice it. Whether it's your daughter sneaking out to a party at night or a burglar who sees his chance because you're away. The surveillance camera reacts to movement with a PIR sensor: the passive infrared detects objects that emit heat and therefore infrared radiation, i.e. people, animals, but also cars, for example; the sensor itself does not generate any heat - hence the term passive. If an object scurries, creeps or moves into the 130 degree angle of detection, you will receive a notification on your cell phone and can intervene immediately if danger is imminent - at the same time, the WLAN camera takes a photo. For better tracking, you can also have a video recording started automatically - this is then saved either on the SD card or in a cloud.
Motion detection offers great advantages in combination with other smart products: You can link a WLAN LED light and/or a smart alarm siren to the camera - if the camera detects movement, the outdoor light switches on and the siren sounds the alarm. On the one hand, this immediately scares off any burglars if they are caught brightly lit, but in addition to security, this also brings convenience aspects - the yard is illuminated as soon as you drive in by car or enter the property through the garden door, for example.
Self-sufficient camera surveillance with solar and rechargeable battery
Whichever area you want to monitor at any time - you can install the WLAN camera anywhere, as the integrated rechargeable batteries make you completely independent of the power supply. All you have to do is mount the camera and that's it - without the hassle of laying power cables. The battery lasts for up to four months and then needs to be recharged. To do this, remove the camera from the magnetic mount, charge the camera batteries using the USB charging cable provided on a PC or laptop or with an additional USB power supply unit at a power socket - and the camera surveillance can continue.
With the solar panel, you can monitor areas completely independently. If the solar module constantly receives enough solar power, the batteries are recharged. You can still keep a reliable eye on areas or places that are inaccessible or rarely visited. With your solar surveillance camera, you will know in future who is enjoying the strawberries in the allotment or what is causing the disturbance in the horse stable.
Automatic recording to SD card or cloud
Of course, you can't keep an eye on everything that's happening on your property 24/7 via your smartphone screen. That's why the camera can automatically start a video recording when motion is detected, which is saved either on a 128 GB SD card or in the cloud. You can use these video clips to see what happened in front of the outdoor Wi-Fi camera at any time afterwards. In addition to the familiar security aspects, such as detecting burglary, theft and vandalism, this also has very convenient benefits: For example, you can see where and how the letter carrier has left the parcel and you don't have to walk around all sorts of places such as the garage or garden shed after work.
Infrared night vision
Have you long suspected that a raccoon is making a raid on the garbage cans at night? Then simply lie in wait at your display at night - it's more exciting than watching a movie. The infrared lighting provides the best view even at night - whether it's a raccoon, burglar or party-happy children.
WLAN camera with 2-way audio
Speaking of the letter carrier: The doorbell rings, but you want to check who's at the door without opening it? Then take a look at the live view. Of course, this doesn't just work when you're at home, but also when you're out and about. If it is the letter carrier, you can tell him via 2-way audio that you will be back from shopping in ten minutes and that he is welcome to leave the parcel on your doorstep. The image from the camera surveillance is therefore transmitted to the live view and you can communicate with the visitor via the loudspeaker built into the camera and via the app on the smartphone. This allows you to ask uninvited visitors to leave the property immediately from a safe distance.
