The LUMIX G9II is equipped with a new 25-megapixel sensor and Phase Detection Auto Focus (PDAF) to deliver the highest level of image quality.
In line with the growing demand for creative and quality photos and videos, this new model delivers the best image quality and rich colors right out of the camera. In addition, the new camera offers a high-speed continuous shooting mode that ensures the decisive moments are always captured.
LUMIX's popular image stabilization system has been further improved to 8 levels of B.I.S. (Body Image Stabilizer). In addition, creatives can take advantage of new photo styles such as LEICA Monochrome and REAL TIME LUT for preferred color settings.

Meine zuverlässige Begleiterin für Familie, Tiere und Urlaub
Die Bildqualität begeistert mich wirklich. Für die Größe des Sensors sehen die Fotos unglaublich klar und farbenfroh aus. Praktisch finde ich auch, dass die Kamera und die Objektive recht leicht sind. So habe ich im Rucksack oft gleich mehrere Objektive dabei, ohne dass es zu schwer wird. Manche sagen, die G9 II sei für eine MFT-Kamera ziemlich groß, aber mir gefällt das: sie liegt einfach super in der Hand.

Besonders froh bin ich über den Autofokus. Ich habe viel weniger Ausschuss als früher mit meinen anderen Kameras, weil er schnell und treffsicher ist. Einziger Punkt, der mich manchmal stört: Der Wechsel zwischen mechanischem und elektronischem Verschluss geht nur über das Menü. Eine extra Taste dafür wäre echt praktisch.

Mein Tipp: Mit den originalen Panasonic-Objektiven klappt alles am besten. Damit funktioniert der Autofokus richtig rund, und auch die Stabilisierung passt perfekt.

Great Upgrade
I am one of the lucky customers that got it in first batch. I have G9 and other olympus bodies. Af is very fast, i liked the leica mono mode. I tried it with olympus 12-100 pro and sigma 56 mm 14. Results are very good for me. It will take some time to adapt body control. I tried om1 and g9ii in Duselldorf shop. (Om1 handing a bit better. Button placing is better also. )
It's video futures are very rich. I did not tried it yet.
I can recommend this product!
