Unparalleledimage quality
The rear-exposed 33-megapixel Exmor R full-frame sensor with high-speed readout, high sensitivity, and highly accurate color reproduction, combined with the high processing power of the new Bionz XR image processor, ensures outstanding image quality. Thanks to high ISO sensitivity (expandable to ISO 50-204800 for photos and 100-102400 for videos) even in low light.

In addition to the two classic RAW and JPEG formats, the HEIF format (High Efficiency Image File) is also available for photos. Thanks to this format's inherent 4:2:2 color sampling and 10-bit color depth, even the finest gradations are reproduced naturally and realistically.

The 7 IV has two media slots that support UHS-I and UHS-II SDXC and SDHC cards. In addition, one of the slots is compatible with CFexpress Type A memory cards. This means that high read and write speeds are also possible without any problems.

Improved selection and editing

The Sony 7 IV offers ten unique in-camera presets for photos, videos, and livestreams. So you can create your own individual picture looks already in the camera and share your images with the world quickly and easily without any complex post-processing.

The optionally adjustable Soft Skin effect provides a radiant complexion, reduces wrinkles, skin irritations and dull areas and emphasizes eyes and mouth.

Autofocus rethought
Faster, more accurate and more precise: the advanced hybrid autofocus recognizes subjects (human, animal and bird) thanks to the latest real-time tracking technology and reliably keeps them in focus. Japanese lens manufacturer TAMRON, a leader in the production of high-quality optical products, announces the launch of the new 90mm F/2.8 Di III MACRO VXD (Model F072), a 1:1 medium telephoto macro lens that will be available for Sony E-mount and Nikon Z-mount full-frame mirrorless cameras.

TAMRON90mm macro lenses: The next generation
In 1979, TAMRON launched its first 90mm macro lens, the SP 90mm F/2.5 (Model 52B), revolutionizing the concept of macro lenses. This Lens, which was known for its stunning bokeh and excellent image quality, was initially used mainly for academic purposes, but was soon used for other types of photography, including outdoor shots as well as portraits. Affectionately nicknamed "Tamukyu", a combination of two Japanese words, it was praised by macro, nature and portrait photographers alike.

TAMRON responded to changing photographic demands with further innovations, launching successor models such as the SP AF90mm F/2.8 Di MACRO 1:1 (model 272E) and the SP 90mm F/2.8 Di MACRO 1:1 VC USD (model F004). In 2016, TAMRON launched the SP 90mm F/2.8 Di MACRO 1:1 VC USD (model F017), a further development of the F004 model. The high-quality coating technology, combined with a soft bokeh and the best imaging performance, is still appreciated by many photographers today.

High optical performance: the tradition continues!
TAMRON's 90mm Lens have long been known for their high resolution and beautiful bokeh. The new 90mm F2.8 MACRO lens for mirrorless system cameras continues this tradition with uncompromising performance The lens offers unsurpassed imaging performance from the center to the edges of the image with soft bokeh and an almost three-dimensional effect that literally brings the subject to the foreground. The optical design consists of 15 elements in 12 groups, including four LD (Low Dispersion) lens elements made of special glass, which effectively suppress the tendency of light rays to diverge and excellently correct both spherical and chromatic aberrations. The BBAR-G2 coating (Broad-Band Anti-Reflection Generation 2) minimizes ghost images and stray light and ensures that the finest details of the subject are captured clearly and precisely, even in backlighting. This exceptional optical performance allows photographers to explore unique photographic expressions in many photographic genres, including macro, portrait, tabletop and many more. The outstanding macro performance of this Lens can also be used with APS-C format cameras. The widest aperture is F/2.8 and the equivalent focal length is approximately 135mm.

Outstanding flat-field performance.
The new 90mm F2.8 MACRO from TAMRON has optimal optical correction and therefore offers excellent resolution even with subjects shot flat, such as documents, artwork or product packaging. This quality is particularly important for close-ups where the depth of field is too shallow to compensate for the loss of sharpness that can otherwise occur at the extreme edges of a flat subject. Because this lens is optimally corrected, it offers edge-to-edge sharpness, even illumination across the entire image area with minimal distortion.

TAMRON'sfirst 12-blade diaphragm for stunning circular bokeh and starburst effects.
The 90mm F2.8 MACRO features TAMRON's first 12-blade diaphragm, setting a new standard for beautiful circular bokeh. Especially in the macro range with a maximum magnification of between 1:1 and 1:4, this special diaphragm ensures that the bokeh remains perfectly circular even when the aperture is wide open. The Lens also effectively suppresses vignetting in the four corners of the image. The new 90mm F2.8 MACRO also consists entirely of spherical elements, which also contributes to a perfect, circular bokeh effect. In addition, the new slat design creates 12 rays when stopped down for impressive starburst effects. This makes it ideal for dramatic shots of scenes with point light sources such as candles on a birthday cake, but also for evening cityscapes.

The 90mm F2.8 MACRO is a medium telephoto macro lens with a maximum aperture of F2.8 and a length of 126.5 mm. With a maximum diameter of just 79.2 mm, the Lens fits comfortably in the hand and is easy to hold, making it compact enough to take anywhere. It is also very light at 630 g, so it can be carried comfortably for long periods of time.

New lens hood design with sliding window for easy filter rotation.
The 90mm F2.8 MACRO comes with a new lens hood that has a sliding window to facilitate the use of filters. Filters such as PL, ND and cross-screen filters have to be rotated to set the respective effect, which often requires the lens hood to be removed. To avoid this inconvenience, the new design allows the photographer to simply rotate the filter through the sliding window. This allows seamless adjustment without interruption, ensuring precise control of shooting conditions.
