45 Megapixel powerful sensor with super fast focus performance

The Canon R5 offers a 45-megapixel full-frame CMOS sensor with a DIGIC X image processor. This allows the R5 to record up to 20 frames per second. The Canon EOS R5 takes its cue from its DSLR equivalent, the Canon EOS-1D X Mark III, a camera that is a household name for most professionals, as it stands for reliability and confidence in the working tool.

This is also thanks to the DIGIC X image processor, which gives the EOS R5 a very good level of detail even in dark situations. With that DIGIC X processor and full-frame sensor, the camera offers an ISO performance of up to 51,200.

The R5's autofocus offers reliability at up to -6 EV with the Dual Pixel CMOS AF II. With up to 5940 AF positions across the entire sensor, this system camera offers extreme reliability. Even with subject tracking.

Video quality of the EOS R5

The Canon EOS R5 offers video qualities & video features that will make professionals' hearts skip a beat. Not only does it offer 8K at 30 frames per second (with 12-bit RAW video), but also 4K at 120 frames per second. That alone doesn't make a camera a professional device for any videographer, but the EOS R5 offers much more: 10-bit 4:2:2 Canon Log or alternatively 10-bit 4:2:2 HDR PQ. On the Canon R5, the viewfinder is smooth at 120 fps. In power-saving mode, 60 fps is possible. The EOS R5's viewfinder is exceptionally sharp and high-resolution with 5.76 million pixels.

Swivel and touch display of the R5

The display of the Canon R5 can be swiveled freely and ensures a good viewing angle on the display at up to 170°. The size of 3.15 inches also plays a role here, allowing for convenient touch operation.

The standard EF-EOS R lens adapter enables the seamless use of EF-S and EF lenses with cameras of the EOS R system. So if you already have EF-S or EF lenses, you can easily invest in the EOS R system and know that the lenses you already have can be used with the usual performance.

Mount your existing EF lenses to your new EOS R system camera with this special bayonet adapter. They retain the same performance and functionality as with an EOS DSLR. You can use your existing EF lenses to explore the new EOS R system. The Canon EOS R adapters are protected against dust and splash water, making them ideal for use in the field.

Habe den Kauf niemals bereut, obwohl es bereits das Nachfolgemodell gibt. Die Kamera löst nicht nur leise aus (spiegellos), sondern sie ist auch bezüglich Treffsicherheit und Schärfe wohl eine der besten Kameras am Markt. Habe jahrelang mit Canon 5D von Model ii bis IV fotografiert, die R5 erscheint mir jedoch wie ein Quantensprung, wobei ich ihre Qualitäten zum Filmen noch nicht getestet habe. Laut technischen Daten müsste auch dort ein erstklassiges Ergebnis zu erzielen sein. Einfach eine Kamera zum Verlieben

Die Garantie kann in den von Canon autorisierten Servicestellen im europäischen Wirtschaftsraum oder der Schweiz geltend gemacht werden.
