Schnappschuss Magazine No. 66: "Blue"

Schnappschuss No. 66 is now available and will be on display in our D?sseldorf store and included in many orders from mid-November. In this issue, we are focusing on the color "blue", and this is also the first Schnappschuss to focus exclusively on one color! Blue is one of the three primary colors, and yet it is rarely found in nature. So rare, in fact, that even thousands of years ago people found it difficult to mix shades of blue, whereas red and ochre were no problem. In some languages, there is not even a word for this color. That's why we're dedicating this issue to blue!

In this issue, we present landscapes from a bird's eye view by Jan Erik Waider. An interview with Matthias Heidrich about architectural photography with his artistic approach. The underwater photography with Brett Stanley he builds elaborate underwater projects with furniture & other props. In this issue we present the winners of the photo competition, which also graces the cover of the snapshot. Matthias Petz also gives you an insight into the cyanotype. Photographing in the blue hour with Naro. Isabella Tabacchi offers unusual night shots of the full moon. The theme of City Lights at Aishy is all about neon lights, cyberpunk vibes in cities like Tokyo, so his pictures are often characterized by cold light and darkness, Aishy also presents the current Lightroom 22 loading display photo. UV Light Flower Photography by Craig Burrows. Experience exciting colors with black light and let the flowers shine in a whole new light. We end this issue with the topic "The imperfectly perfect" by Glenn Norwood, because an exciting and good light setting gives the picture an exciting mood & also tells a story.

Of course you can read the magazine digitally as an e-paper here. As mentioned at the beginning, you will find the snapshot from mid-November in printed form in many shipping packages and from now on in the D?sseldorf store.
