DJI Mic Mini (1 transmitter + 1 receiver) consists of a receiver and a transmitter (Infinity Black) and is suitable for solo creators and other single-person audio recordings.
You can connect the DJI Mic Mini to a range of devices, including cameras, smartphones (via the Type-C/Lightning adapter or via a direct Bluetooth connection), computers and Osmo Mobile 6 (requires a smartphone to use).
DJI Mic Mini supports the DJI OsmoAudio connection system. The transmitter supports direct connection to Osmo Action 5 Pro, Osmo Action 4 or Osmo Pocket 3 without receiver.

1. Connect the DJI Mic Mini receiver to a cell phone via a Type-C adapter and update the firmware for both the receiver and the transmitters in the DJI Mimo app.
2a DJI Mic Mini transmitter can also be connected directly to a cell phone via Bluetooth to update the firmware.
3. If you are using an iOS mobile device, firmware updates for DJI Mic Mini are only supported via Bluetooth and not via a USB-C or Lightning connection.
The transmitters and receiver are already paired from the factory. If you need to pair them again, you can do so in the following way:
Method 1: Place the transmitter and receiver in the charging cradle and they will be paired automatically;
Method 2: Turn on the transmitter and receiver. Press and hold the pairing buttons on the transmitters and receiver. If the status indicator on the transmitter flashes green and blue quickly, pairing is active. When the status indicator is solid blue, pairing is complete.
To stop pairing during the process, turn off the devices.
The DJI Mic Mini offers three recording modes: S (stereo), M (mono) and Ms (mono with backup recording).
1. S: Stereo mode. The audio signal from the two transmitters is recorded via separate channels.
2. M: Mono mode. In mono mode, the audio recorded by the two transmitters is combined into one channel.
3. Ms: Mono with backup recording. DJI Mic Mini records two tracks, with the main track recorded at normal volume and a backup track recorded at -6 dB to protect against distortion if the source volume suddenly increases.
If you use Ms (backup recording) mode, you must separate the tracks during post-processing
The DJI Mic Mini Charging Cradle can be used to pair the transmitters with the receiver and store the transmitters, receiver and phone adapters (Type-C and Lightning). When fully charged, it can charge two transmitters and one receiver approximately 3.6 times.
The DJI Mic Mini Mobile Phone Adapter (Lightning) is sold separately.
It is recommended to charge the DJI Mic Mini transmitters, receiver and charging cradle with a max. 5V/2A charger.
It takes approximately 90 minutes and 100 minutes to fully charge the transmitters and receivers with the charging cradle at room temperature. It takes approx. 2 hours to fully charge the charging cradle. Measured in a controlled test environment and for reference only.
You can enable or disable noise cancellation by pressing the power button on the DJI Mic Mini transmitter once.
When recording with a cell phone or camera, you can adjust the noise cancellation levels (Strong or Normal) via the DJI Mimo app.
Strong and Normal noise cancellation can be adjusted directly on the product's user interface when an Osmo Action 5 Pro, Osmo Action 4 or Osmo Pocket 3 is connected to one or more transmitters via DJI OsmoAudio Direct Connection.
When the transmitter is connected directly to the cell phone, the noise cancellation level cannot be adjusted in the Mimo app; it is set to Strong level by default.
